Rose Park was developed on Salt Lake City's west side largely after World War II, laid out with curving streets rather than the numbered grid used elsewhere in the city, and it sits along the Jordan River Parkway trail system.
What the housing stock looks like
Most homes here date to the postwar decades, generally on larger lots than you will find in the city's older streetcar neighborhoods, which is part of what draws buyers who want more space without leaving the city.
Because the building stock is more uniform in age than in neighborhoods like the Avenues, comparables tend to be more straightforward here.
Buying or selling in Rose Park
Buyers comparing Rose Park to the east side should know they are comparing two different markets with different histories and different price bases — I can walk you through what that difference actually buys you.
Sellers: proximity to the Jordan River Parkway is a real amenity for the right buyer, and it is worth highlighting specifically rather than assuming it speaks for itself.
